Students rely heavily on their mobile devices to socialize and communicate and about 90% use mobile for email as well as to “check in” with social media through their device. But according to a new survey from Study Breaks and Campus2Careers, there is another activity rapidly shifting to mobile: finding deals and coupons.

Groupon Kills Gun-Related Deals, Business As Usual at AmazonLocal

In light of Sandy Hook and other recent gun-related tragedies, Groupon has decided to kill its firearm-related daily deals.  According to a Groupon spokesperson, all scheduled and current gun-related deals featured on Groupon North America, including shooting ranges, conceal-and-carry and clay shooting, have been placed on hiatus while they “review internal standards that shape the deal inventory.”
